Coaching Disclaimer

Effective date: October 15, 2026

We want you to know exactly what SoulSis coaching is, and what it isn't, so you can make the choices that are right for you.

What it is. SoulSis offers faith-centered coaching, encouragement, prayer, and community support. It is a place to be heard, to grow, and to take your next step with someone walking beside you.

What it isn't. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. We don't diagnose or treat any mental health condition, and our coaches are not licensed mental health professionals. Nothing we say should replace the advice of a doctor, therapist, or other qualified professional.

If you're already getting care. Please keep seeing your doctor or therapist, and don't stop or change any medication or treatment because of anything shared in coaching. We're glad to support you alongside them.

In a crisis, get urgent help. SoulSis is not a crisis service. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you're in danger, call or text 988 (U.S.) or call 911 right away.

A faith-based approach. Our coaching is rooted in the Christian faith, and prayer and Scripture may be part of it. You're always welcome to share what feels comfortable, and nothing is ever required of you.

Privacy and its limits. We treat what you share with care and discretion. But our conversations are not legally privileged the way those with a doctor, therapist, or attorney can be. We may need to share information if the law requires it, or if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, including any risk to a child.

Results. Everyone's journey is different. We can't promise any particular outcome. You stay in charge of your own choices and decisions.

Giving is optional. Coaching is offered on a donation basis. Give what you're able, if you're able. Finances should never be a barrier to living better.

Referrals. If we believe you would be better supported by a licensed professional or another resource, we'll say so and help you find options where we can.

Suspending or ending coaching. Coaching is voluntary on both sides. You can stop at any time, for any reason. SoulSis may also suspend or end coaching with you if we believe it isn't helping, if your needs are beyond what coaching can offer, if we can't meet your needs right now, or if the relationship becomes unsafe, disrespectful, or unworkable. When we can, we'll let you know and, where it makes sense, point you to other resources, such as a licensed professional or another support in your community. Ending coaching doesn't end your welcome in our community.

Questions. We're glad to talk it through at any time. Email hello@soulsis.org.
